LBC is the leading freight and cargo courier here in the Philippines. While it cannot be denied that there are other courier services that competes with LBC, its one-day delivery promise attracts the majority of customers. However, I have some unfortunate experience with LBC.
I sent a package last march 9, 2011 at LBC ****n Branch. My package is to be delivered at L**** City Philippines.

Open Letter to NBI Director re:My experience in securing NBI Clearance
Sir,
Good day!
I wrote to your good office with regards to my NBI Clearance. I applied for my clearance last February 14, 2011 at NBI District Office, herein our province. They told me to wait for 10 working days. I returned to their office this morning February 25, 2011 to claim my NBI clearance but they told me that it is not yet available. They also told me that maybe Friday next week or next next week, my NBI clearance will be available back then. However, I really need my NBI clearance already. Is there a way to expedite securing of NBI clearance? Is the 10 working days not attainable for NBI provincial branches to release our clearance? I hope for clarifications with regards to these matter.
Thank you very much and more power.
PS.
I have already claimed my NBI clearance on the 12th day (excluding weekends). I have sent this letter to the NBI director after I failed to claim my NBI clearance on the 10th day. I do not know if this letter has any bearing for the quicker release of my clearance as compared to the scheduled given to me by NBI employees.

Single Yuppie Pinoy: Filipinas prefers food over sex
There is an article in one website that says Filipina women rank food as their preference over sex. Say what!?! Anyways, it shows that most Filipino women are still conservative-type and thinks food as one of their priorities. Filipina women rank family, health and religion as their topmost priorities. Food ranks fifth place, while sex at 18th place. Now, this lead me into thinking "does this means Filipina women have lower libidos"? Well, it may be or no.

Think Rich Quick 2.0 Seminar: All About Real Estate Investments
I am going to attend the TRQ 2.0 seminar tomorrow and on Sunday. TRQ means Think Rich Quick 2.0. This is organized by Trace Trajano, one of the best mentors when it comes to real estate investments. Well, I am not yet prepared to divulge myself in real estate investment full-time, but I want to learn more about it because I am hopeful that it can at least help me financially if ever I will be able to close out a deal.

life of a single pinoy bachelor: My crush is going to get married!
I saw the Facebook profile of my crush just last week. I could not believe that she is already planning to get married. My first reaction is that I panicked. After all those dreams and imagination that someday we are going to be together, now it has been shattered because of my inutility.

life of a single pinoy bachelor: online trade using eBay
Eversince I discover online trade, I have been hooked intro buying things online. I tried buying 2nd hand gadgets, cell phones, even clothes. However, not only 2nd hand items are being sold on the internet also new ones. There are many online stores where different items are traded, but I recommend eBay.

life of single pinoy bachelor: boys night out
One of the things that single men like me look forward to is the boys' night out. This is usually done during Friday nights. It can be done to nearby sari-sari store that is open until 10 pm and serves cold beer. Or to the home of anyone in the group, but we usually avoid this, unless there is an event happening at their house.

life of single yuppie pinoy bachelor: not ready for textmate?
I already have a textmate. I texted the number given by my co-worker, and it turned out, she is more excited than me. I tried to flirt, but it seemed very unlikely of me.

life of single pinoy bachelor: Textmate
What would you do if someone gives you a text mate? That is my dilemma when one of my co-workers gave me a text mate number. Actually, she was his cousin.

single young urban professional yuppie pinoy: vitamins minerals and supplements I take
As a person who is always on the go, I need to take dietary supplements so that I can be still active even I am awake 16 hours everyday. I consistently have my morning coffee, but I am already taking a break since I feel jittery. My favorite supplement is vitamin C, particularly Enervon C. It makes me feel active all day. I also give credit to this supplement on why I rarely catch a cold, even if I am exposed to sick persons. The only negative side effect of taking enervon C is it makes your urine very yellow. Thus, it can stain your underwear. Next supplement I am using is the Chelated Zinc. I only take this primarily because it can help minimize acne and pimples. It can also help me get a good night sleep even though I force myself to stay awake when I feel sleepy. I recently started glutathione because it promised a healthy whiter skin. I hope I can attain a fairer skin because I am always exposed to sunlight, especially during noon time since this is the nature of my work. I am also taking rogin-E. This is my regular dose of vitamin E. It has deanol, royal jelly and korean ginseng, which can have a positive effect on my virility as a person. Well, I think that is all. Ciao!

my life as a single yuppie: a brother to my siblings
I am the eldest of five broods so it is my duty to give assistance to my siblings.
Last night, my sister called from Baguio. She is still in her 2nd year college. She told me that she wants to borrow my HD camera. It is not that I do not want to lend her, but I had just bought her a laptop. Then after two months, the laptop has a defective drive and was reformatted already. She blames the virus that infected the laptop, but I digress. Now she wants to borrow my 35k camera. I am thinking twice because she might be careless again, but at the same time she said that she needs it for her project after I told her a litany of do's and don't, I decided to give her the camera.
I also have a sister who is studying in a university at our province. She is cramming her project and there are still many things to be encoded. So she asked me to help her type at least five pages while she will rest on a little. Because I pity her, I type a portion of her project already typed 10 pages but my sister is not around because she fell asleep already. Because I still have some paper works to do, I saved whatever I finished and start my paper works.
As I am working on my paper works, my brother who is taking his review at Manila texted to ask some words of encouragement. He seems to lag from the review, and he does not understand some of the topics that their instructors were teaching. So , I told him to concentrate, practice and pray. After a few exchanges of sms, I think he got the message already or maybe have fallen to sleep.
My brother who is the second eldest, arrived because of their school activity. He is a teacher on a private school, but he had not yet passed his board exam. However, he got his job because he is an alumnus of the school, and he has a big ego which can exude confidence that the school administrators like so much. Even so, since it is a private school, he is still contractual, and they are paid lower compared to the regular employees. So, most of the time, his salary is not enough for his needs that he still asks some moolah from me. And as usual, he told me that they are going to have a recollection, and he needed extra cash in case of emergency. So I give him some money, and he went to his room with a big smile on his face.
Now, I have not yet finished my work but I feel drowsy also, so I sleep and dream for a better tomorrow.

single yuppie pinoy: young urban professional
well i think the yuppie word started during the turn of millenium, when people tried to described persons who are hip, got a good job, and care free. Being hip means being updated with the latest trends, hanging out with friends, visiting different places and being cool to other people. A yuppie must also have a good paying job, not necessarily a high paying one, but enough to afford some luxuries as well as wants in life without asking from parents or relative. A yuppie is also care-free, does not have much plans, everything is ok as long as there are still some cash to spend. Yuppie are actually anti-nerd; while nerds are highly intelligent but are not sociable, they barely interact, not good looking, does not follow trends, old-fashioned in terms of clothing and mindset, Yuppies want to change that notion. Yuppies are intelligent individuals but does not want to be labeled nerds so they reversed the negative impressions of nerds. Thus a new generation of individuals are born.

single yuppie pinoy typical night
my usual office hours is from 8AM to 5PM. But since I do not take snacks in the afternoon, I always have my early dinner after coming from work. I usually eat alone since when I got home my house members are still cooking for dinner, and I just eat whatever is left during lunch. Easier to prepare is just to open canned foods or fry something, but I think too much canned foods can lead to helath problems. After eating I immediately go to couch and watch television. But I make sure that I only spend roughly 2-3 hours before facing my laptop. Sometimes while watching TV, i would work out, but that is only when I do not feel lazy. After watching and working out, I take a bath, brush my teeth and go directly to my room. Here I usually surf the net, check my emails, and read messages from my peers. After checking the net, I resume whatever office work that I still need to continue. After feeling tired, I go directly to my bed and have my well deserved sleep.

single yuppie pinoy first blog
i have been frustrated with my life, especially my love life. I think the main reason is I am a shy person. In other words, torpe. I do not have the guts to say my feelings to my crushes. Sometimes I also use my head instead of my heart. There are a lot of ladies who they say have a crush on me, but I did not court them because they are not intelligent, sometimes they are liberated, others are not so attractive, and so on. Now, I think Im stuck being single. Sometimes my friends would tease me when will be my wedding, and i always joke them that it will be next month, but only my bride is not yet available. I must admit that I am not good looking in terms of pinoy's standard (must be mestizo, fair complexioned, sharp nosed, tall, etc) but as per my mother, I am the most handsome in the world. Another reason I do not attempt expressing my feelings to my crushes because of my fear in rejection. My idea of a perfect girlfriend/ wife material is she must be intelligent, honest, reliable, sexy, hardworking, loyal, faithful, thrifty and low-maintenance. Is this kind of lady impossible to find already?
